You are right, it is easier to get caught up in the joys of the Christmas season than it is to remember why Jesus needed to come in the first place. It throws our sins in our face and takes the joy out of our hearts. However, feeling the joy of what Christ did for us should bring the joy into and of Advent as we prepare for our Saviors coming.
